Olmo Lopez

Olmo Lopez, director of Innovation and Ready Mix Performance, holds 15 years of experience in the construction materials industry. He oversees strategy development to implement sustainable solutions, benchmarking to identify opportunities, right-sizing RMX fleets and owning CAPEX processes.

Mr. Lopez began his career working for Holcim first as an intern at the Holcim Portland (Colorado) cement plant before accepting a role as a cement procurement specialist in Montana. He continued working for Holcim as a procurement business analyst in Dundee, Michigan, and finally as warehouse supervisor in Midlothian, Texas, coordinating a working capital project for the US and Canada.

Mr. Lopez has held roles of progressing responsibility including a RMX Area Manager role, Category Manager in mining, and most recently in Procurement Operations, where he managed $1.3 billion of spend.

Mr. Lopez holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, UTEP.
