Domenico D’Aqui

Domenico D’Aqui is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the ACM Northeast and Great Lakes Regions. He reports directly to the Region Head, North America. 

Mr. D’Aqui joined Holcim in November 2022 as General Manager of Great Lakes East, bringing deep management experience from across the building materials industry. This includes more than 15 years in leadership roles within sales, operations, M&A, and strategy. 

Before joining Holcim, he served as Vulcan Materials’ Regional Vice President and General Manager of Aggregates for the Northeast Region, where he enhanced profits across the regions quarries, marine terminals and ready mix operations in New York and New Jersey by devising new commercial strategies, driving operational efficiencies, and optimizing sourcing. 

Prior to this, he was General Manager of Aggregates at CRH’s Tilcon in New York and New Jersey, leading all aspects of the business, including sales, operations, logistics, safety and engineering processes. For more than seven years, Mr. D’Aqui held leadership roles with progressive responsibility at CRH including Vice President of M&A for the South Division, Vice President of Operations for Conrad Yelvington (southeast USA), and Director of Sales for Aggregates and Asphalt with Tilcon in New York and New Jersey. 

Other past roles within the building materials industry include Operational Improvement Planning and Operations Manager with Cemex. Prior to joining the building materials industry, Mr. D’Aqui was a Financial Analyst with GE Capital in Connecticut.  

Mr. D’Aqui holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo and an Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida.
